NOX filmfest in Uruguay to host Iran’s ‘Paradoxical’

Iranian short flick ‘Paradoxical’ has been selected to compete at the 2022 NOX Film Fest in Uruguay.

The thriller, directed by Iranian actor Nima Shahrokh-Shahi, depicts a simple story from the perspectives of different people in a realistic format, with some surrealistic hints.

The cast list of the short film includes Shahrokh-Shahi, Azadeh Saadatmand, Diana Jafari, Sadaf Sameni, Reyhaneh Rahimi, and Asma Hosseini.

‘Paradoxical’ has previously won three awards at the 2020 edition of the Horror Movie Awards in the US.

The NOX Film Fest, Uruguayan International Horror and Fantasy Film Fest, is a fun cinematic experience that takes place during the South American summer.

The festival hosts films in terror, horror, fantasy, Sci-Fi and other subgenres.

The 2022 edition of the festival is scheduled for January 12-15.
